Paan Singh Tomar is an upcoming Hindi movie based on the life of legendary athlete and famous outlaw of the same name. Paan Singh Tomar belonged to the Bhind region of Madhra Pradesh and was the fastest athlete of his era, some say he was even more talented than Flying Singh Milkha Singh.



Little is known about this legend who joined army, won many athletic accolades and then became a fiery rebel of Chambal. Director Tigmanshu Dhulia of Haasil fame is directing the movie and did lot research on the character before actually making the movie.

The movie cast includes critically acclaimed actor Irrfan Khan as Paan Singh Tomar and Dev D fame hottie Maahie Gill as his wife. It will be an very interesting movie and will enlighten us about a probable Hero who never got his due credit and why he became a dacoit. The movie is set for a August 27, 2010 release.
