We already have heard a lot of buzz around GMADA Aerocity Mohali Plots. Lakhs of Applications have already been filled with more pouring in everyday however nobody has given a thought to the prices and allotment system of the so called PLOTS for common people.

Now Big Questions arising out of this GMADA Aerocity Mohali schemes are How Fair Would be the Draw ? How Much time will it actually take to get the Refund Back ? How much percent plots property dealer and Land Mafia Grabs?
First of all Lets Talk about the prices set by GMADA. GMADA purchased land from farmers at much lower rate than what they are offering it for now. Unconfirmed rumours tell us that price is roughly 10 times more than what was paid to the farmers. News about Farmers filling a legal petition are also doing rounds as they are demanding more compensation for their Land.
Now if we consider the Price set by GMADA for per sq yard which is 12,000, a 125 Sq Yard plot will cost 15 Lakhs which is by no means affordable by a common man. GMADA is a Government agency and they should have offered the plots at much lower rates than Market price considering the fact that they procured the land from farmers at a much lower price.
Since they say that plots are for common and needy people they should taken extreme care that Property Dealers and Land Mafia should not get those Plots. But there seems to be no check on that as anybody can fill the Application form. Rumouors are ripe that property dealers and big players have submitted multiple applications with some people say that a single person has filled more than 100 applications using alias names. Now if those rumours are true and plots are alloted to these people, we can very well imagine what will happen. Also there is no way GMADA can figure out if a person is applying for Multiple forms as they are not demanding any solid idenfication documents line PAN Numbers. They should atleast have made a column to enter the PAN number and that too Mandatory along with a copy of PAN Card. Also they should have asked for Income Tax returns of last year and a mandatory column where the Applicant should declare all his current movable and immovable assets.
Also the Application Fee and Earnest money is too high. GMADA will earn CRORES in Interest just by keeeping that money in Banks. Refund process for Unsuccesful Applicants will take 90 days, again Bank will keep that money and earn crores in Interest. Only GMADA and Banks that are offering Applications and Loans will benefit from this and common public will be again taken to task.
There is no confirmed Date when the Result will be declared. It might take 2 months, 3 months, who knows. Again public will suffer during that time with their money deposited in Banks without getting even a single penny as interest.
How Fair Would be the DRAW ?
Although evrything is done by softwares these days and authorities claim that there is 0% error in this. But at the the end of day, some human has created that software and at the time of the Draw there will be some one looking over it. So can we rule out the chances of some Favourism ? Nobody can question the DRAW or Lottery system adopted, we can only pray and hope for a Fair Draw.

Prescribed period for the money refund for unsuccessful applicants is 90 Days, but we doubt that. Only GMADA, Banks and God knows How Much Time it will actually take.

Rumuors are abuzz that they already have applied in huge numbers and will definitely get some percentage of the plots if we go by simple mathematics, we all know other way these big realators adopt to grab the land.
Al the Facts indicate towards a non efficient policy and procedure followed by GMADA. The policy should have been well planned and a transparent one so that only deserving people were alloted those plots.

The Form says a single person can apply multiple times, so there is no need for any check whatsoever.
The Draw is held in open public, and anyone who has applied is welcome to attend it.
It's done on multiple days to avoid the rush.
@Gmada Plots....We do appreciate your feedback however by multiple times we are referring here to the Property dealers and Big Realtors who have enough black money to even apply for 4000 plots. That should have been checked. If someone fills 100 forms it obviously increases his chance of winning, that should not have been the case here, if GMADA and the government really wanted to help common public. And regarding results, we just asked people that how fair it would be, thanks for enlightening us on that.

If the farmers go the court for higher compensation only god knows what will happen to the people who has financed the earnest money. The option of multiple applications by an individual clearly shows that this scheme will only benefit politicians and land mafia who can afford thousands of multiple applications. This is a well planned scheme of some politicians to grab major share of land near international airport and I am sure that common men will hardly have any share/plot. There are higher chances that this aero city scheme will definitely struck into legal course. lets hope for the best

Hi Guys is there anyone who has applied via a freedom fighter category ???
They are only accepting DD/Banker's cheque for payment of earnest money. No cash is being accepted. Payment of rest of the amount is also required through bank transactions. I hope that should keep the black money and hence the big fishes out of it. I know of someone with big money,but he didnt want to apply for it becasue of these requirements.

it all depends on luck it hardly matter whether u file 1 or 100 application.only lucky person will get the plot.

Lucky is ok. But what is the assurance that draw will be fair. It is a known fact, whatever method you adopt, lucky persons mostly belong to the nears and dears of the politicians and the high ups. The reason for this only PAUL the Octopus can tell

I can see lack of trust with our country due to years of fraud history but there are still honest people out there. So wait and see the result.

The Aerocity scheme by GMADA has been brought out to help developers of the area to earn crores. As per brochure map of aerocity, a long plot has been carved from Mohali to Chhat. It is not a square/rectangular chunk of land. Developers who had purchased thousands of Acres in area were finding it difficult to sell their plots/flats. Plots that were being quoted at 5-6000 per sq. yard are now being quoted 12500 per sq yard in line with aerocity. On both sides of so called aerocity, developers have multiplied their money 3-4 times. The shceme has only been brought out to help them (? share their gains)

Puda announced up coming projects in the name of Aerocity in Mohali they accommodated all categorize all over from India can apply. But they don't accommodated people of demand survey conducted by PUDA in the year 2002-03 from the people who wants to have a house in the Mohali. The forms were filled by lakhs of people. Rs 2000 per form was taken by the PUDA. They had not done anything for those people who had shown their interest by giving Rs 2000 on the forms.In the last 7 years.This is a sort of brazen act of fraud played by the govt. authorities on the citizens. Are we doing something about it.
Aerocity in Mohali there is very fluid situation in the market of areocity plots market is expected to crash rapidly with in a matter of few weeks. The decline as already begun and is expected to reduced the premium on areocity plots from present rates so advice to postpone ur decision for sale purchase of areocity plots until GAMADA issue the LOI (letter of intent) to successfully name of the plots owners
its a frad bechnchod, I applied for 125 sq yard & on the list of successfull candidates I dont see the signature of the observer IAS officers which they should do. So body from media should please bring this into news

i want to bring it to the notice of responsible authorities, that while going through the list , i observed that people who are HNI's , and had applied for multiple plots have got multiple allotments, it should be probed by big central govt. agencies like CVC, CAG.
also GMADA , is making fool of us by not returning refunds, i took a personal loan, and i am paying heavily for the interest burden, i request the higher authorities to take necessary action and give us refunds as early as possible
