After much speculation regarding the release date, Jaganmohini (also spelt Jagan Mohini) is all set to hit screens on Diwali (October 17). Diehard fans of Namitha will surely be thrilled. Impressed by the script and the performance of Jayamalini in the original, Namitha reportedly shed a lot of weight to give perfection to her character.

Namitha is particularly pleased with the underwater sequences shot in the Indian Ocean. Known for her honest statements, Namitha said she was truly impressed by the producer and director's total involvement with the project. "When I heard the script, the role looked tailor-made for me. But the grandeur part was beyond my comprehension with N.K. Viswanathan lending a riot of colour, aided by the graphics effects."

"As Time Goes By" You must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss, A sigh is just a sigh; The fundamental things apply, As time goes by. - Herman Hupfeld

In this pooja, there is a tradition of building cow dung hillocks, which symbolize the Mount Govardhan, the mountain which was once lifted by Lord Krishna.
