Toshiba T100 Series ULTRA THIN NOT ULTRA EXPENSIVE, perfect punch line to describe these new wonderful and exciting laptops from Toshiba. Windows 7 release and Toshiba T100 launch on October 22nd is no coincidence as this is well thought over strategy and will definitely help boost T100 sales.
Toshiba is well on its way to grab some gold and encash on Windows 7 launch with T100 series laptops. Toshiba Satellite T100 series will initially come with two variants T115 11.6 Inch and T135 13.3 Inch screens. Both laptops are less than 1 inch thick and will come with Intel Ultra Low Voltage (ULV) processors.

One of the major features which I like the most is "USb Sleep and Charge port" that you can use to charge any kind of USB device like ipod, iPhone etc without even powering on the laptop. Also the promised battery time of 9 hour from a 6-cell battery makes it quite a versatile laptop while travelling.

The T135 13.3 inch, 3.88-pound starts at $600 with 250GB 5400RPM disk, up to 8GB or memory, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. The T115 is priced at $450 with 11.6-inch display, up to 4GB of memory, and weighs 3.49-pound. I personally fell that Toshiba T100 series laptops are worth their money as specifications are at par with its competitors and Windows 7 is preinstalled.
