In case you are facing issue with Dell Registration pop up window popping up on startup and not closing or freezing, please follow these steps

    - - - - Hi - - - -

I have been struggling to remove the Dell Welcome Window. I have followed your instructions. However, when I type DELLjob_CRS, it brings-up a window named DELLjob_CR5. Note the digit "5" rather than the letter "S."

I see that others have succeeded with your instructions. But, I seem to be stalemated.

Geez, I am so eager to get rid of this Dell Welcome Screen. I will appreciate any further advice.

    Thanks in advance, David Humphrey

Click on start, go to Control panel. Double click on the Programs and Features option. On that window click on Dell Communication Software and uninstall it. Restart the system and that should fix this issue.
